Curio Frame (2025)
3 Weeks of Design: The Culture of ObjectsJuly 5–26, 2025 | @gallery.medium
Curio Frame began with a quiet habit. Whenever I visit a new place, whether deep in nature or wandering city streets, I find myself picking up small, forgotten objects: a broken tile, a smooth stone, a handmade trinket. These pieces, humble as they are, hold a memory, a sense of place, a moment of stillness.
This frame was born from the desire to give those objects a home.
Made from a single sheet of metal, it folds easily by hand and mounts to the wall with minimal effort.
But more than a hook or frame, it becomes a window, an invitation to reflect, to notice, to remember.
It asks you to complete it. To step outside, gather something that speaks to you, and place it inside. Each time you do, the frame shifts, becoming a personal still life, a quiet portrait of your connection to the world.
Curio Frame is a small gesture. A way to hold onto the intangible through the tangible.
A reminder that meaning often lives in the simplest things we choose to keep.
